On September 22, 2001, she married Matthew Dix, a television personality known for his role in the popular show Maine Cabin Masters.
The couple shared a deep bond, often spending time at their home in Rangeley, Maine, with their three dogs, Quimby, Dodge, and Asher.
Ginna cherished moments at their camp, where she enjoyed listening to music, sipping Prosecco, and reading books.

She attended Gardiner Area High School, where she excelled in field hockey and basketball, earning a reputation as a determined and talented athlete.
Her love for sports extended beyond high school. She also participated in Outward Bound, an outdoor education program that reflected her adventurous spirit.
After graduating from Gardiner in 1995, Ginna pursued a career in nursing, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from St. Anselm College in 2000.
She later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University in 2018, becoming a certified Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.
