Jordan Clarkson, 32, was born on June 7, 1992, in Tampa, Florida, United States, to his African-American father, Mike Clarkson, and Filipina American mother, Annette Tullao Davis.
He moved to San Antonio, Texas, around the age of six with his parents.
Sadly, his parents officially divorced when Clarkson was young. However, the exact reason behind their separation has not been made public.
After the divorce, Jordan’s father tied the knot with Janie Clarkson.
His father was a human resource manager in the United States Air Force. Mike initially wanted to be a boxer on the US Olympic team.
He competed in the welterweight division but was eliminated early.
Earlier, in 2014, Mike was diagnosed with Stage 4 carcinoma cancer when Jordan was playing his college basketball at the University of Missouri, and despite receiving the sudden news, Clarkson remained calm and performed well.
Mike had two surgeries, on March 24 and 25 of 2014, to remove a tumor wrapped around his spine that threatened to spread his lungs.
After spending a year rehabbing, he returned to his job in San Antonio with the Air Force.
On June 16, 2019, Jordan wished his father a happy Father’s Day and birthday, calling him a real fighter through his official Instagram handle. He wrote,
