WWE Diva, Sunny, Currently Serving A 17.6 Year Sentence For DUI Manslaughter, Was With Her Boyfriend, Chris Candido Until His Death In 2005

WWE Diva, Tammy Lynn Sytch, better known by her ring name, Sunny had a long and complex relationship with Chris Candido, who passed away in 2005.

Currently, she is serving her sentence in a facility in Ocala, Florida, with a scheduled release date of September 23, 2039.

Sunny And Chris Shared An Enduring Bond, Marked By Personal Struggles And Many Ups and Downs

Sunny and her late boyfriend, Chris Candido met in the early 1990s in high school and quickly became inseparable.

The WWE diva had often described Candido as her high school sweetheart, and they were together for many years.

Having started their relationship as high school sweethearts and continuing long after graduation, they were known for their unwavering loyalty and devotion to one another.

However, their relationship faced extreme public scrutiny and rumors, especially during their time in WWE.

There were allegations of infidelity and emotional turmoil, which added more stress and complications to their relationship.

One of the most notable allegations was Sunny’s affair with Shawn Michaels, which she later confirmed in her autobiography.

Candido began his wrestling career at the young age of 14, training under Larry Sharpe, and quickly rose through the ranks.

He also appeared in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) under the ring name, Skip, one-half of the tag team The Bodydonnas.

Furthermore, his partnership with his real-life girlfriend, Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, who acted as his valet during his matches, was hugely publicized.

At the time of his death, he was the reigning NWA Midwest Heavyweight Champion.
