Florida athletics department employee has filed a sexual assault complaint against Gators assistant men’s basketball coach Taurean Green.
Taurean James Green is a Georgian-American former professional basketball player who has become an assistant coach. He last played for Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski of the Polish Basketball League (PLK).
He played college basketball for the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Florida Gators team.
Moreover, Green played with the senior men’s Georgian national basketball team at the qualification tournament for EuroBasket 2011 after getting Georgian citizenship.

The woman reported the incident after being approached by Title IX investigators working on a case involving head coach Todd Golden.
On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, she again filed a complaint accusing Green of making unwanted advances toward her during a meeting arranged by him.
As for head coach Todd Golden, in September 2024, he was accused by an undefined number of women of sexual harassment and stalking.
