Julian Naumenko, a rising soccer star from Hatboro, PA, made a name for himself as a goalkeeper at Archbishop Wood High School, where he graduated in 2024.
He served as captain for his final two seasons, earned recognition on the All-Rookie team, and was named an All-PCL player twice.
Proud of his Ukrainian-American heritage, Julian played for the Ukrainian Nationals club team for ten years.
His coach shared that Julian had great potential to make a name for himself at Rutgers University-Camden, where he committed to play soccer in early 2024.
Additionally, the coach described Julian as an athletic player with a muscular build, great shot-stopping ability, and excellent distribution skills.
After sharing Julian’s highlight video with a former goalkeeper All-American, both agreed that Julian showed great potential.
The coach believed Julian would have every opportunity as a freshman to compete for the starting role, with the former All-American likely offering guidance behind the scenes.

It was the fourth week in a row that a student from Archbishop Wood was nominated.
