Notre Dame Fighting Irish WR, Jeremiyah Love Was Raised Along With Sister Jaela Love, By His Parents L’Tyona And Jason Love

In 2022, Jeremiyah's sister Jaela was also present during his family's visit to Notre Dame.

St. Louis, Missouri, Jeremiyah Love has one sister, Jaela, who is very supportive of him.

Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, 20, could not keep out of the end zone during Thursday night’s Orange Bowl game against Penn State.

Highlights

  • Jeremiyah Love scored a ridiculous Notre Dame touchdown while dealing with a knee sprain.
  • Love has one sister, Jaela Love, who has kept her personal life away from social media.
  • He was born to his father, Jason Love, and his mother, L’Tyona Love.

He gave an incredible effort to score a wild touchdown for the Fighting Irish.

Love’s Herculean effort to get into the end zone early in the fourth quarter briefly gave Notre Dame their first game lead.

The Fighting Irish running back lived up to the team’s moniker on first-and-goal when he took a handoff and bounced off at least four tackles before diving into the end zone for the touchdown.

The play would have been impressive enough, but Love was a bit of a question mark for the Orange Bowl. On Friday night, the winner will play in the National Championship game against the Ohio State-Texas winner.

Love had re-injured his right knee during the Fighting Irish’s win over Georgia the previous game in the Sugar Bowl, which forced him to go to the medical tent twice.

He returned to the sideline for that game but had a brace on his knee.

The running back was not listed on the Sunday Notre Dame injury report, and head coach Marcus Freeman did not mention Love being banged up.

Love exploded for a 98-yard rushing touchdown against Indiana, electrifying the crowd at Notre Dame Stadium.

Jeremiyah Love’s Sister Has Managed To Stay Away From Social Media

Jeremiyah Love was born on May 31, 2005, in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, to his father, Jason Love, and his mother, L’Tyona Love.

He grew up with his sister, Jaela Love, who has managed to avoid the social media handle.

However, in 2022, his sister Jaela was also present during his family’s visit to Notre Dame.

While Jeremiyah’s future with the Fighting Irish was the focus of much of the visit, his sister’s appearance showcased the importance of family support.

Currently, he is living with his parents. His father, Jason Love, is more than just a father; he is his coach, motivator, and biggest fan.

Their bonding reached the roots of Jeremiyah’s youth football at the peewee football level. Jason Love recalled,

“He didn’t have the confidence at first,”  “I used to take him aside and say, ‘Son, you’re great. You’re already a winner.”

Jason Love

Before Jeremiyah’s game, Jason secretly says a few words to his son because this brings out a ritual, such as a rite of passage that started when Jeremiyah was 6.

Jason has seen his son grow into a college athlete from the bench.

Aside from the statistics and championships, Jason Love can see the same boy who felt he could reach for the stars and put all his heart into achieving that goal.

On the other hand, his mother, L’Tyona, loves watching her son play on the football field.

L’Tyona is a former policeman who served at the St. Louis Police Department and is now a retired sergeant.

She has been a source of discipline and character-building for the young Jeremiyah, influencing his values and working attitude.

However, because of the nature of her job, she could not be present during the crucial developmental stages of Jeremiyah’s life.

She shared memories of a letter Jeremiyah wrote during his first year of high school that made a lot of difference. She said,

“My long hours at work, the holidays, birthdays, all those missed times, practices, football games—I missed a lot”.

L’Tyona Love

Jeremiyah requested more time with her mother through the letter, so L’Tyona decided to be present at every match for him.

Such a change has created a new episode in their relationship. Whether it was the 98-yard touchdown run or this great moment, L’Tyona can now be seen cheering with her family for each victory.
