Jourdan’s Mother Is A Special Education Teacher
Raised in Detroit by his mother, Linda Lewis, alongside his sister, Cameron Lewis, Jourdan showed football promise from an early age.
Linda is a special education teacher and was deeply involved in Jourdan’s upbringing and supported his football career.
Jourdan was a part of the Detroit Police Athletic League’s Westside Cubs in his youth, where his little sister, Cameron, was a cheerleader.
There is no public information about Jourdan’s father, nor has he mentioned him in any of his interviews.
He Was A Standout Player At Cass Technical HS
Lewis attended Cass Technical High School, where he was an extraordinary football player, tallying 8 interceptions and 11 touchdowns in his junior year and 751 receiving yards, six touchdowns, 742 return yards, and three touchdowns his senior year.
Lewis and Lano Hill, who also attended Cass Technical, were key players in the team’s defensive backfield, winning back-to-back Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 1 championships in 2011 and 2012 for coach Thomas Wilcher.

His exploits during high school earned him a scholarship to the University of Michigan.
At Michigan, too, he became a standout player, earning first-team All-American honors in 2016.

His exceptional coverage skills and athleticism made him a key component of the Wolverines’ defense, leading to his selection by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
After being picked in the third round with the 95th overall pick, Lewis signed a four-year rookie contract with the Dallas Cowboys worth $3,248,428, including a signing bonus of $753,428 and an average annual salary of $812,107.

Off the field, Jourdan is in a relationship with his longtime partner, Ariee, with whom he shares two children.
Their daughter, Riley, was born on January 22, 2020, and they welcomed a son on September 2, 2023.
