AEW star Anna Jay has been dating his boyfriend, Jack Perry, since June 2021.

The AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash just got even more significant.

On December 4, 2024, in the episode of AEW Dynamite, Anna Jay secured a significant win over Penelope Ford, her eighth singles victory since September.

However, the aftermath of her match truly set the stage for an explosive showdown. Following her impressive win, she was confronted by TBS champion Mercedes Mone.

The confrontation quickly turned intense, with Mone questioning Anna’s credentials, saying,

AEW wasted no time capitalizing on the heated exchange, officially announcing a TBS Championship match between Mercedes Mone and Anna Jay for the AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash on December 18, 2024.

The highly anticipated clash will mark Jay’s most significant opportunity yet to prove herself on AEW’s grand stage.

Anna Jay’s Boyfriend, Jack Perry, Was Suspended Indefinitely Following AEW All-In

AEW star Anna Jay met her boyfriend, Jack Perry, through an AEW BBQ. There was a game of Beer Pong in which Jack and Joey Janela teamed against Anna Jay and Alan Angels.

From there, their love story started, and Jack made their relationship public in 2021 by dropping a picture of him kissing Anna Jay on his official Twitter handle.

The first mention of Jack Perry and Anna Jay’s relationship came in the Four Pillars AEW World Championship storyline involving Perry, MJF, Darby Allin, and Sammy Guevera.

At the time, Jack Perry was a clean-cut babyface, with Anna Jay playing a heel in the Jericho Appreciation Society.

Anna’s boyfriend, Jack, 27, is also an American professional wrestler who started his career on the independent circuit in 2015, debuting at Underground Empire Wrestling’s 2015 West Coat Cruise Cup.

In January 2019, he signed with the upstart promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the ring name Jungle Boy.

He made his AEW debut at the company’s inaugural event, Double or Nothing, on May 25, competing in the pre-show Casino Battle Royale, but Jimmy Havoc eliminated him.

On July 19, 2023, at Dynamite: Blood & Guts, he defeated Hook for the FTW Championship, claiming both his first singles title and Hook’s undefeated streak, becoming the first man to defeat Hook since he began his career in 2021.

However, Jack was defeated by Hook after 39 days. During the match, Jack knocked on the windshield of a car and said,

It allegedly responded to CM Punk leaking a story about Punk refusing to allow Perry to use real glass for a spot in a planned segment for Perry for an episode of AEW Collision.

After the match, Perry and Punk got into a legitimate altercation right before Punk’s match, and Punk’s opponent, Samoa Joe, had to break it up.

A week later, AEW Owner Tony Khan terminated Punk’s contract and suspended Perry indefinitely. Footage of the altercation was shown on the April 10, 2024, episode of Dynamite.

On April 21, 2024, Jack Perry, with his new “Scapegoat” persona, returned to AEW at Dynasty and helped the Young Bucks defeat FTR to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Later, on April 24, he was revealed as a member of The Elite alongside the Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada.
