Krysta Tsukahara was part of the school golf team and was a proud daughter of her parents, who competed in regional and school-level golf championships.
Moreover, she was frequent in the statewide golf tournaments representing her high school and named some titles under her name.
In a statement reported by Piedmont police, the Tsukahara family stated that she would be remembered for “her kind and sensitive heart.”
Beyond her family, the Piedmont community also mourns deeply, with a memorial at the crash site.

The Deadly Incident Happened When The Tesla Cybertruck Crash Into A Tree
Krysta Tsukahara was heading to her home with her high school friends after attending an event during the Thanksgiving break on November 28, 2024.
However, she met a tragic end on her way back. The Tesla Cybertruck she was riding crashed and erupted in flames.
According to authorities, the truck jumped a curb, slammed into a cement wall, and became wedged between the wall and a tree before bursting into flames.
The fire was so intense that emergency services found the vehicle engulfed when they arrived.
Piedmont Police Captain Chris Monahan reported that the Cybertruck’s onboard system automatically alerted 911 moments after the crash.
Before authorities arrived, a following driver pulled one occupant, Jordan Miller, from the wreckage, but the three remaining passengers couldn’t be saved.
Furthermore, regarding the cause of the incident, Piedmont Police Chief Jeremy Bowers reported that they are investigating speeding as a possible cause of the horrific tragedy.
