Ty-Coreous Jordan was an American college football player running back for the Utah Utes in the Pac-12 Conference. He earned second-team all-conference honors.
Similarly, Aaron Marqus Lowe was a sophomore cornerback who played primarily on special teams for the Utes. In 2018, he was named a First-team All-District 7-5A safety.

On November 21, 2020, his 19th birthday, Jordan made his college debut. Later became the first Utes freshman since Fuamatu-Maʻafala to accumulate three straight 100-yard rushing games.
On the other hand, Aaron began his football high school career as a wide receiver but switched to defense at the end of his junior session. He also ran track as Ty.
Later in college, he played more than 15 games on special teams and mainly contributed tackles.

Utah running back Ty Jordan d*ed in Denton, Texas, following the fatal gun wound after being shot in the abdomen from an apparent self-inflicted accidental gunshot.
On December 25, 2020, Ty Jordan was found by the Denton, Texas, police department experiencing a gunshot injury while responding to a shooting call at 9:38 pm.

The officers reported that the football player was taken to a nearby hospital when he was pronounced dead at 10:46 pm. They mentioned,
Ty Jordan was just 19-year-old when he passed away. His death on Christmas was just a day after he was named the conference newcomer of the year.
Utah Utes posted long condolences following his demise news to remember his legacy. In the press release, Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham said,
Furthermore, Jordan’s memorial service was held on January 6, 2021, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Apparently, the University of Utah chartered a plane, and athletic department members attended his service. After his passing, Utah University founded the Ty Jordan Memorial Scholarship.
Ty Jordan’s Fellow Utah Player Aaron Lowe Tragically Passed In A Shooting Incident In September 2021
Utah Utes faced another devastating news of the demise of Aaron Lowe on September 26, 2021. He was just 21-year-old at the time of his de*th.
It was reported that Aaron lost his life in the shooting incident at a house party in Salt Lake City near the Sugar House Neighbourhood.
The incident occurred at an off-campus house party meant to celebrate their win over Washington State. An uninvited guest, Buk Mawut Buk, 25, showed up and began causing commotion.

As police reported, Lowe and another victim of the gunshot, Fuamoli Pomale, tried to leave the party just after midnight but found their car blocked by another vehicle.
As they argued with a group of men who refused to move their car, Buk walked across the street to retrieve a gun from another man and began shooting.
Aaron lost his life at the scene; the Utah State Medical Examiner’s office later recovered four bullets from his body.
Furthermore, Buk pleaded guilty to first-degree felony murder and first-degree attempted felony murder for Lowe’s killing. He was sentenced to 15 years of life in prison with a possible life sentence.
The tragic demise of Aaron was just nine months after Ty Jordan’s passing. Ty and Aaron were high school friends and football teammates.
Moreover, Lowe was the first recipient of the Ty Jordan Memorial Scholarship. Similarly, he switched his jersey number from No. 2 to No. 22 to honor Jordan’s legacy.
On October 30, 2021, Utah Utes retired No. 22 in Jordan’s and Lowe’s memories. Furthermore, On December 3, 2021, at the Pac-12 Conference Championship, there was a “moment of loudness” in their memories.

- Four months before his demise, Ty Jordan lost his mother, Tiffany, to stage 4 Lung Cancer and bone cancer. She was first diagnosed with cancer In December 2018.
